Ghana Telecom has been an Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the past four years. The service is available to individuals, corporations and schools. Through the SAT-3 submarine cables GT has acquired access to a content/centric Internet network with direct connections to some of the most popular content sites and content hosting networks. GT has established connections to major U.S., European and Asian Network Access Points for direct connectivity to leading ISPs providing one AS-hop connectivity. These diverse connections allow you to avoid congested Network Access Points and to move data with low latency and minimum packet loss.

The new GT network collects all available global routes from its international customers, U.S., European and Asian peering arrangements, as well as other high-speed direct connections to key backbone providers, and with optimizes traffic routing.
